Canine BRAF mutation testing – webinar

Late last year we introduced the Fat’hieh Canine BRAF mutation PCR test, and we’ve seen strong interest from veterinarians across New Zealand.

Based on the questions coming through, we’re keen to share more detail on how this test can be used in practice and to address common clinical questions around interpretation and case selection.

We invite you to join us for a live webinar on canine transitional cell carcinoma/urothelial cell carcinoma (TCC/UC), and the clinical application of canine BRAF testing.

The BRAF mutation occurs in around 85% of dogs with TCC/UC, offering a powerful tool for early detection and helping guide further diagnostic and treatment decisions. The Fat’hieh BRAF mutation PCR is a non-invasive test performed on a free-catch urine sample. Previously, this testing required referral overseas; it is now developed, validated and performed locally in New Zealand.
